Grace And Mercy Pt3

Grace will make you

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Matthew 4:19 KJV

Every greatness you see in the kingdom today is a product of God’s grace. Grace makes people. An ordinary person can become extraordinary by the grace of God.
Peter was just a fisher man; what about the other disciples? They were just nonentities when they got connected to Jesus Christ. This explains the truth that men are made by God’s grace. Grace is the mystery behind unusual exploits in the kingdom.

It’s good to know that grace is a person. Jesus Christ is the grace of God personified. So when he asked Peter to follow him, he’s simply asking him to follow grace.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Titus 2:11 KJV

Grace is the help of God. It is both favour and capacity. No man can do great things except he or she is helped by God.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV

There are different kinds of graces and God is the custodian of all.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
1 Peter 5:10 KJV

He said His grace is sufficient for us.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV

Grace is available for whatever situation and any assignments we are called to function.

When grace comes in any area of your life, there’s enough capacity to manifest destiny to the fullest.

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV

May God give you the appropriate and commensurate grace for where and what He has designed you to manifest.

So how does grace make people?

1. Grace transforms the human heart first.

And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.
1 Samuel 10:6‭, ‬9 KJV

Saul needed to be turned into another man before he can manifest in his prophetic destiny. You can not put new wine in old wineskins.

2. Grace exchanges your weaknesses for strength.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinth 12:9KJV

3. Grace surrounds you with the relevant relationship needed for the fulfilment of that great destiny. For Saul, different categories of people were set on his path after he left Prophet Samuel. They handed over to him some significant provisions. The same happened to Jesus Christ when he was born. The wise men brought gifts to him.

ISam 10:2-7,

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Matthew 2:10‭-‬11 KJV

David also had his path flooded by relevant men to his destiny purpose.

1 Chronicles 12:18,21-22 KJV
Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band. [21] And they helped David against the band of the rovers : for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host. [22] For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.

From the passages of scripture, it’s glaring that great men are products of God’s eminent grace. Just as He made these great men we see in scripture, so likewise, you must be ready to be made by God’s grace.

All that God requires of us is availability, desire to become who He has designed us to be and hunger for knowledge, 2Pet1:2-3.
